The Blind Buffalo Honky Tonk is back for the second year! This is the official after party of the Gala and it is brought to you by the Hard Rock Hotel and Casio. The after party will follow the Gala and is held at the Blind Buffalo Bar at Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center. There will be drinks, games, and snacks for you to enjoy. Arrowhead Business Award Applications
The Arrowhead Business Awards are given out each year during the Broken Arrow Chamber Annual Gala on Saturday, February 2, 2019. These awards celebrate the excellence shown by businesses, organizations and individuals in Broken Arrow that are members of the Broken Arrow Chamber. The Arrowhead Business Awards are presented by Tulsa Tech.
Community Advocate of the Year
The community advocate of the year is awarded to organizations or individuals that go above and beyond their business’s mission to serve the community at large. They empower their employees to serve and work to advocate for the community they love. Examples include volunteering at community events, serving on Community Boards, Supporting local non-profit organizations and more.
Manufacturer of the Year
These businesses create wealth for the community and export their goods across the nation and abroad. Providing quality jobs and opportunities for the region, they are the backbone of local economy and are engaged in the community.
Non-Profit of the Year
The non-profit of the year is an organization that provides services and programming to the Broken Arrow community that are extraordinary, serving people’s needs and providing products and services not found in the for-profit realm.
Woman/Minority Owned Business of the Year
This award is presented to an outstanding woman or minority owned business in our region. The outstanding work they do not only creates a successful business, but also creates opportunities for other women or minorities to succeed.
Restaurant of the Year
The Restaurant of the Year must provide savory fair to all who live and visit Broken Arrow. They create quality cuisine and provide excellent customer service which entices individuals to dine in Broken Arrow.
Retailer of the Year
This award is presented to a retail establishment that provides quality merchandise and excellent customer service which entices residents to shop locally, and encourages people outside of Broken Arrow to shop in BA. (Must produce sales tax to apply for this award).
Business Person of the Year
A person whose business practices embody what it means to be a community partner, innovator, and leader. The Business Person of the Year is a prestigious award that will be given to someone who stands alone as an example to his or her peers. He or she must demonstrate their propensity for business growth, community involvement, and job creation.
Business of the Year
A business that has made a significant impact in the community they serve. These are industry leaders that created wealth through new jobs, bettered the city by encouraging their staff to be involved in the community, and continually innovate to be ahead of the pack.
The Business of the Year Award is broken into four different levels:
- Sole Proprietor
- 15 or less employees
- 16-50 employees
- 51 or more employees
