Leadership Broken Arrow provides participants the opportunity to have a unique perspective and understand the Broken Arrow community, including the past, present, and future. LBA also helps participants gain knowledge of their individual leadership skills and talents and how they can help meet the demands of our growing community. Graduates of LBA are in a position to influence the future of Broken Arrow through their community involvement. Since 2002, over 580 individuals have graduated from LBA.
Through Leadership Broken Arrow individuals have the opportunity to:
Leadership Broken Arrow consists of one-day orientation sessions and 11 full-day sessions that meet monthly from August to May. Classes feature guest lecturers, experts in their respective fields, local area tours, visits to places with important community missions, leadership training, classroom participation, and an opportunity to network with other civic-minded individuals.
To graduate from LBA, you must attend a minimum of nine monthly sessions and the mandatory orientation retreat in August. Sessions are from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Tuition includes materials, breakfast, lunch, and administrative costs. Total tuition is $1,000.
